Naomi Booker

Ms. Naomi Booker is a Health Program Specialist, within the Division of Clinical ResearchOffice of Global Health and Health Disparities (OGHHD). She serves as a liaison, supports the programmatic activities of the office, assists with the implementation of the Global health activities and health equity strategic plans for the institute. Prior to joining NINDS, Naomi served as a Patient Care Coordinator, where she gained experience collaborating with individuals with lived experiences, patient advocates, health care providers, and community-based organizations to develop individualized plans of care, conduct assessments, and evaluation of skilled in-home nursing care for underserved populations suffering from Stroke, Parkinson’s Disease, Alzheimer’s disease, and other neurological diseases.

Naomi obtained her Master of Public Health from the University of New England in Maine. Her areas of interest center around advancing health equity research and efforts to promote equitable health outcomes in communities.
